A customer with a CDMA Tri-Mode phone, will be able to make calls and receive calls at the home rate, nationwide, as long as they are within the PAGE PLUSF coverage. Roaming outside PAGE PLUS coverage, and roaming within PAGE PLUS coverage with a non-compatible phone, will cost $0.99 per minute. A customer with a CDMA Dual Mode phone (supports CDMA/ANALOG), will be able to make calls and receive calls at the home rate everywhere within the PAGE PLUS coverage except for the PAGE PLUS markets that operate on PCS technology such as Florida and Texas. Roaming outside PAGE PLUS coverage, and roaming within PAGE PLUS coverage with a non-compatible phone, will cost $0.59 per minute. A customer with a CDMA Dual Band phone (supports CDMA/PCS), will be able to make calls and receive calls at the home rate everywhere within the PAGE PLUS coverage except for the PAGE PLUS markets that operate only on Analog technology. Roaming outside PAGE PLUS coverage, and roaming within PAGE PLUS coverage with a non-compatible phone, will cost $0.99 per minute. Question: How will a customer know if they are roaming On-Network, Off-Network or Unregistered? Answer: While roaming, the customer may experience the following: On-Network Roaming Calls completed as usual: Enter destination telephone number and press SEND. Or Two – stage dialing will occur as follows: 1. The destination number is entered and the SEND key is pressed. 2. The customer will hear a billing announcement prompting them to re-enter their destination number. 2. Off-Network Roaming Two - Stage dialing will occur as follows: 1. Destination number is entered and the SEND key is pressed 2. Customer will be asked to enter their Mobile Number, four-digit Pass Code, and destination number. 3. However, Page Plus is working on offering these rates in future. However we do have two other plans: The Unlimited Nights and Weekends, this is where we offer regular rate during Peak and Unlimited Off-peak. Question: How long is the airtime good for before it expires or does it carry forward as long as they are buying and loading more? Answer: The life span of every Page Plus Cellular Card is 120 days, or about four months. Any unused portion of the previous card will get carried over every time they replenish the account, but only if the unused portion has not expired (e.g., before 120 days are over.) Question: Can a customer port their number from another carrier or reseller into Page Plus Cellular, and if so, what information does Page Plus Cellular need from the customer in order to port their number? Answer: Yes. Page Plus Cellular can port a number in from any carrier or reseller. Page Plus Cellular needs the following information to port a number in as efficiently as possible: · Your name. · A number where we can reach you. · An ESN to activate with the ported number. · The number to port. · The previous carrier (which company the number is being ported from.) · The customer’s account number with the previous carrier. · The customer’s passcode or password for their account with the previous carrier. · The customer’s social security number. · The customer’s full name: · The customer’s billing address, including city, state and ZIP+4. · An alternate number where we can reach the customer during the porting process |
